Plans and billing

What counts as a repository, how the trial and paying work, and what happens over a plan’s limit.

What you pay for#

Kodmos is priced by the repositories your flows deploy. People and deploys are unlimited on every plan.

A repository counts when at least one flow that isn’t archived has a deployment in it. Repositories the GitHub App can see but no flow uses don’t count, and archiving a flow stops its repositories counting.

The trial#

Every organization you connect gets 14 days of Business, without a card. After that it moves to Free unless someone upgrades. Its history is kept either way.

Adding repositories#

  • Free includes 3 repositories. A flow that would add a fourth can’t be saved until the organization upgrades or archives a flow.
  • Team includes 10 and Business 30. Past that, each repository is $12 a month, and the editor shows the price change before you save.
  • During the trial, an organization can deploy up to the 30 repositories Business includes.

Paying#

The owner chooses a plan under Organization settings → Billing and pays by card through Stripe. Choosing during the trial charges nothing until it ends.

  • Yearly billing costs ten months, for the plan and for each extra repository ($120 a year).
  • Extra repositories follow the repositories you deploy, prorated: adding one charges for the rest of the period on the next bill, archiving one credits it.
  • Moving to another plan or to yearly billing applies at once, and the difference is charged or credited the same day.
  • Cards, invoices, billing details and cancelling are in Stripe’s portal, one click from the billing page. A cancelled plan stays until the end of the period you paid for.

Paying on your GitHub bill#

Team and Business can also be bought on GitHub Marketplace, monthly or yearly, and paid on the GitHub bill you already have. The plan applies as soon as GitHub says so; upgrades, downgrades and cancelling happen on GitHub. If an organization pays both ways, the better plan applies.

Over the limit#

When a trial ends or a plan gets smaller, an organization can find itself over its limit. Nothing is deleted and everything stays visible. After a 14-day grace period deploys pause, until it upgrades or archives flows to get back under.

History and features#

Every deploy is kept on every plan; plans only limit how far back you can see: 30 days on Free, a year on Team, all of it on Business. Upgrade, and the older history is there at once.

Features outside your plan show the plan they come with. The API refuses them with status 402.
